Another great acoustic act from the Taken acoustic stable at Proud tonight.
Matty Arthur and his acoustic guitar, with the help of his friends harmonica create a very chilled and cool sounding country / blues rhythm. Everyone here at Proud seems to be enjoying the buzz that goes with it.

FLU Review: Dynamo Garage

Dynomo Garage may have been our last band tonight but they were well worth the wait. It’s a shames that more people couldn’t stay to see them. I suppose that’s the problem with headlining on a week night.
Even though the crowd was small the band poured their heart and soul into it and produced some great tight music. The 5 peice band were very reminicient of The Mystery Jets and thought they played a great gig. Great job boys. Hopefully we can have you back soon.

FLU Review: Novak Stare

Novak Stare rinsed it at the Proud galleries Camden tonight. A very 80’s but modern sounding band, reminds me of The Cure and the Lead singer of James and some other awesome 80’s classic bands that escape my old broken brain.
A great sounding band well worth checking them out if you can.

FLU Review: Bleech

The beautiful and sexy Bleech sound sublime. With a great sound and fresh look they rocked Proud Galleries tonight.
The two front girls are very easy on the eyes and even easier on the ears, with one of the most amazing drummers I’ve ever heard. He’s holding everything together perfectly. Backing up their look with perfect time (no joke, perfection!). If this world and industry was fair then this band would go far.
Flu wish them the best of luck and hope they go to the top. Just hope you don’t forget us guys.

FLU Review: Miss Scarlet

Miss Scarlet are rocking The Old Queens Head in Islington tonight. Sounding amazing with their mixed collection of keyboards and guitars are creating a new and vibrant clear sounding sweet syphony with very strong vocals and crystal sound.
Either the sound man has done an extraordinary job or this bands sound naturaly pops off the page and sticks with you like a newly recorded fresh track from the studio. Great sound and a great buzz. Well worth checking out.

The second city empire: A great mix of electro, dance & trance meeting a rocking hard place creating a smooth instrumental combination of samples and sick live rifts with great attention to detail making a complex but harmonious set of tunes that anyone would be happy to get stonned too.
Truely a interesting original sound. Rinse it boys.
the Fedreals were load and fast and were rocking the proud galleries in Camden hard. Real hard underground music fresh and original music. The fedrals are going far. Check back soon for them on our podcast and future (London underground) gigs coming soon. Weredefinately having them back.
Sailorette have played an eclectic gig with so much variety and good mixture of fast and slow. Feeling and sole. A great band with rock, roll and a touch of country thrown in. Superstars.
